Stronger Partnerships
The best decisions happen when we listen and work together.

Hi, I'm Erin Kellie
I am seeking election as School Trustee for School District 46 in Area 3 — Lower Coast (Gibsons, Roberts Creek, Elphinstone and West Howe Sound).
I believe every decision we make at the Board table should ultimately come back to one question: How does this affect students?
The biggest reason I'm running is simple: I've spent years advocating for my children and their peers, and I know how important it is to have someone willing to keep asking questions and looking for solutions.
Students need the right support to succeed —and that means making sure Teachers and Education Assistants have the resources, staffing and support they need to do their jobs well.
It means investing in early intervention, creating inclusive learning environments, making responsible decisions with public dollars, and ensuring students have access to the opportunities and learning strategies that help them thrive.
It also means listening—to parents, students, teachers, Education Assistants and our broader community—because the people closest to our schools have valuable insight into what is working and what needs to change.

My priorities may cover several areas, but they all come back to one thing: putting students first by supporting the people who support them.
I want to bring a practical, informed and community-minded perspective to the Board
—one that asks not just whether we’re making good decisions for the school district, but whether we’re making the right decisions for the young people sitting in our classrooms today and preparing for their future.
I'm running because I believe I can make a meaningful difference.
I'm running because I believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive
—and because when we support the people who support our students, everyone benefits.
Every child deserves an education that meets their needs.
I’m running for School Trustee in SD46 to ensure Students come first, always!
ENDORSEMENTS

What sets Erin apart is her genuine dedication to listening before taking action.
Voters should know that Erin isn't running to advance an agenda; she is running simply to serve our kids and ensure every family feels heard and valued.

I am supporting Erin because I think she brings a strong thoughtful and committed voice to the role of school trustee. She understands the challenges facing students, families and educators and is willing to listen, ask tough questions and advocate for change.

I am supporting Erin because we have had many conversations about the succeses and issues in the school district and I feel she will be able to provide insight and perspective within the school board.
She is the wife of a volunteer firefighter and has raised 3 great kids that are thoughtful and kind. She goes out of her way to help those in need.

I leave plenty of business matters to her that I do not have the time for and I can relax knowing she will take initiative to get things done without my directions.

She's not afraid to call it like it is, but she has the ability to do so in a respectful manner that can promote change instead of creating friction.

I have seen Erin step up again and again by volunteering for her children’s activities and helping make experiences run more smoothly and successfully for everyone involved. She leads by example, puts in the work, and is always willing to contribute when something needs to be done.
